In the same month we also gained SMAS Worksafe accreditation, an SSIP recognised health and safety assessment. Together, these give our clients independent, verifiable proof of the standards we work to on every project.
What ISO 9001:2015 means
ISO 9001:2015 is the world's most widely adopted quality management standard. Certification is not self-declared: our quality management system was independently assessed against the standard and certified through Citation in July 2026. The scope of our certification covers:
"The provision of installation, commissioning and maintenance of electronic security systems (including CCTV, intruder alarm systems and access control), electrical services and structured cabling for commercial and industrial clients."
In practice, this means every stage of our work, from initial survey and system design through to commissioning, handover and ongoing maintenance, follows documented, audited processes with a commitment to continual improvement.
What SMAS Worksafe means
SMAS Worksafe is a member of Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP). Accreditation confirms that our health and safety policies, procedures and track record have been assessed by an independent body and meet the SSIP core criteria. For main contractors and principal contractors, this simplifies pre-qualification: our health and safety competence has already been verified, reducing the paperwork needed to bring SEG onto your project or approved supplier list.
